Location:Staverton Airport, Gloucester

Salary: DOE

 

We are seeking a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer who is looking to further their career and take on the Part 147 post holder position while still being involved with the Part 145 base maintenance facility.

This role is ideally suited to experienced engineers who are looking to take on a lead role within the organisation. The Successful candidate will be responsible, to senior management, for the growth of the Part 147 within the Group while still being connected to the Part 145 on site.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved with a wide selection of tasks within the business and will offer a variety that standard engineering positions cannot compete with.

This role will include but is not limited to:

  • Be responsible for the Part 147 training organisation as the Form 4 post holder

  • Provide and communicate regular reports to the management team

  • Certify work within the scope of company authorisations at line and base level

  • Interaction with customers both on site and at remote facilities

  • Work closely with the wider Castle Air team to ensure smooth operation of all business functions

  • Supervise other engineering and support staff as required

  • Ensure compliance is maintained to industry requirements and regulations

  • Comply with all Continuing Professional Development requirements relevant to the relevant company policies and reporting authority.

  • Computer literacy on Microsoft based systems
