Role Overview:
You will be responsible for carrying out composite repair and manufacturing work on a variety of aircraft components and structures under Part 145 approval to support our Manchester Workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in composite work inside an aerospace environment, will consider alternative industries.
- Experience in both metal bonding or wet/prepreg layup
- Liaise with Planning to develop the repair techniques and methods from OEM Tech Data.
- Ensure all work is completed IAW procedures, regulations and health and safety requirements.
- Ensure all documentation is correctly completed and all planned tasks are carried out accurately and in order.
- Other tasks as required by Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Desired 2 years experience in composite repair and manufacturing within the aviation/aerospace industry. We will consider alternative industries
- Understanding of EASA/CAA regulations and composite repair standards
- Proficient in working with a range of composite materials including carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid
- Familiarity with technical drawings, manuals, and repair documentation
- A strong eye for detail, manual dexterity, and quality-first approach
- Relevant training or certification in composite technologies (desirable)
