Chevron is proud to partner with a leading aviation engineering provider to find a highly skilled Composite Engineer for their growing team.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for carrying out composite repair and manufacturing work on a variety of aircraft components and structures. Working within a fast-paced MRO environment, you will ensure all work is completed to exacting industry standards and in accordance with EASA/CAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on composite aircraft components and assemblies
- Conduct inspections and assess damage using non-destructive methods and visual analysis
- Manufacture and fit composite components using pre-preg, wet lay-up, or vacuum bagging techniques
- Prepare detailed documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Liaise with engineering, planning, and quality teams to support efficient workflow
- Operate in accordance with safety protocols, engineering drawings, and OEM specifications
- Contribute to continuous improvement of shop procedures and repair techniques
Requirements:
- Proven experience in composite repair and manufacturing within the aviation/aerospace industry
- Understanding of EASA/CAA regulations and composite repair standards
- Proficient in working with a range of composite materials including carbon fibre, glass fibre, and aramid
- Familiarity with technical drawings, manuals, and repair documentation
- A strong eye for detail, manual dexterity, and quality-first approach
- Relevant training or certification in composite technologies (desirable)
