Chevron Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Supervisor to oversee a team of avionics technicians working on Boeing 737NG aircraft. This position is key to ensuring compliance, quality, and efficiency across production and modification programs.
You’ll be collaborating closely with the Avionics Lead Subject Matter Expert, supporting the successful execution of complex maintenance tasks and acting as the go-to contact for all avionics-related aspects of the operation.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate a team of avionics technicians across modification and maintenance programs

Conduct detailed inspections in accordance with Boeing Aircraft Corporation specifications

Interpret technical documentation, schematics, and regulatory materials accurately

Monitor task card performance and ensure alignment with allocated hours

Identify and investigate variances, providing root cause analysis and reporting to relevant stakeholders

Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and resource utilisation

Support system testing, troubleshooting, and validation of avionics components
-
Act as a mentor to junior team members, promoting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement

Provide regular progress updates to management and escalate issues as needed
Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Valid CAA/EASA Part 66 B2 Licence

Type-rated on Boeing 737NG
-
A minimum of 10 years’ aircraft maintenance experience, with a strong background in avionics

Extensive experience with aircraft modifications and heavy inspection programs

Proven knowledge of avionics systems and applicable regulations

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

Organised and proactive, with a keen eye for quality and compliance

Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance tracking software

Must be eligible to work in the UK and undergo UK security vetting
