Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated B2 Licensed Engineer to join our dynamic and forward-thinking team. As a key member of our Maintenance Operations team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the highest safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards within our fleet, predominantly focusing on UKCAA-approved works on the Airbus A320 series. Responsibilities
- Aircraft Maintenance: Perform line and base maintenance tasks on Airbus A320 aircraft in compliance with UKCAA regulations.
- Certifications: Certify all maintenance work carried out in accordance with Part-145 approvals and company procedures.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify technical issues on aircraft systems within your B2 scope of authorization.
- Compliance: Adhere to regulatory and company policies, ensuring airworthiness and safety standards are met or exceeded.
- Collaboration: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and operational staff to maintain aircraft readiness.
- Documentation: Accurately complete maintenance records, logbooks, and other technical documentation to maintain data integrity.
- Training and Development: Stay up-to-date on industry best practices, regulations, and new technologies through training and development programs.
- Safety Advocacy: Foster a culture of safety, taking proactive steps to mitigate risks and promptly reporting hazards.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Valid UK CAA Part-66 Category B2 Aircraft Maintenance License with cat A on station A/C types.
- Authorization to certify maintenance on Airbus A320 (CE & NEO variants preferred).
- Comprehensive knowledge of UKCAA/EASA regulations, Part-145 maintenance standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience in line or base maintenance environments, preferably on commercial aircraft.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills, specifically in avionics and electrical systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment under time-sensitive conditions.
Desirable:
- Previous experience with A320CE and/or A320NEO variants.
- Human Factors, Fuel Tank Safety, and EWIS certification.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high standards of work.
Day-to-Day
- Perform pre-flight, transit, and post-flight inspections.
- Carry out troubleshooting tasks to address avionics issues, wiring malfunctions, or other electrical concerns.
- Certify aircraft for release back into service upon completion of maintenance tasks.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team to keep aircraft turnaround times on schedule.
- Complete and maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with UKCAA standards.
- Proactively seek out opportunities for process improvements and best practices in maintenance delivery.
