Shift Pattern: 7 On / 7 Off – Day Shifts
Additional: Includes Away-from-Base Duties & AOG Support
Salary: Basic £80,000 plus Shift £4,000 plus £1,500 per type up to 3 types

Overview:

Chevron Recruitment are supporting a prestigious aviation client based at Biggin Hill Airport, currently seeking experienced and qualified B1 or B2 Licensed Engineers with EASA or UK CAA coverage on the CAA, FAA & EASA approved on Beechjet 400a/400XP, Hawker 800/800XP/750/900/1000, Gulfstream 550, Bombardier BD-700 and Phenom 300. 

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic and varied working environment, including line and base maintenance, AOG support, and away-from-base projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Bombardier BD700 series aircraft in accordance with Part 145 regulations.
  • Support AOG recovery operations, both locally and at remote locations.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification with minimal supervision.
  • Complete and certify work as per regulatory and company procedures.
  • Liaise effectively with the Maintenance Control and Planning teams.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with technical records.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping, and professional conduct on and off base.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

✅ Valid UK CAA or EASA Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence
Type Rating on Bombardier BD700 (Global Express) – Essential
✅ Proven line or base maintenance experience on BD700 aircraft
✅ Sound understanding of aircraft systems, troubleshooting, and airworthiness requirements
✅ Ability to work independently and support AOG call-outs as needed
✅ Willingness to travel and work away from base during assigned rotations
✅ Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills

Desirable Attributes:

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing operational demands
  • Previous experience on other Bombardier types advantageous
  • High attention to detail with strong safety awareness
