Role:  Authorisations & Training Administrator

Location: Manchester

Hours:  Monday Thursday 08:30 17:00, Friday 08:30 14:30

Salary:  DOE

Job Purpose

The Authorisations and Training Administrator shall perform administrative functions within the Compliance and Safety Department, to develop, maintain and promote the highest standards of Compliance and Safety Management throughout Storm Aviation.

The Authorisations and Training Administrator will play a crucial role in enabling Enable Infrastructure Ltd to maintain a culture of compliance throughout the organisation. You will be responsible for maintaining, an authorisation system and ensuring staff have received correct training for such authorisations. You will work closely with various departments, stakeholders to promote a strong compliance framework and mitigate potential risks

Job Accountabilities

  • Coordinating and maintaining Certification authorisation records.
  • Maintain all Quality logbooks, spreadsheets and electronic trackers
  • Assisting the Director of Compliance and Safety with the development and management of Compliance and Safety documentation relating to authorisations and training.
  • Maintain controlled documents folders
  • Maintain Authorisation stamp control
  • Maintain training records
  • Manage controlled documents reviews and updates workflow using proprietary system (MROPRO)
  • Manage filing system for all Quality record types and controlled documentation Manage archiving of all Quality documentation
  • Managing the compliance inbox, answering and escalating compliance queries to the relevant contacts
  • Any other function as deemed necessary and suitable by the Director of Compliance and Safety.

 

The role is based in an office environment within the Manchester Workshops.

The normal working day is between 08:30 and 17:00 on Monday to Thursday and between 08:30 and 14:30 on Friday. 30 minutes is provided for lunch. There may be occasions due to operational reasons where it is necessary to work outside of these hours.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Can Read and write in English.
  • strong attention to detail; ability to work without supervision; excellent time management skills; exceptional communication and customer service skills; technical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft office programs; strong prioritisation and organisation skills; ability to handle confidential information; strong record keeping skills; ability to multitask

Preferable Experience:

  • Proven experience within an Administration function
  • Familiarity of aircraft maintenance or airline environment; or similar but not essential.
  • Familiarity of a compliance or safety environment with experience of quality systems is desirable but not essential.

Training & Knowledge:

  • High standard of English language (written and oral); and
  • High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
